SOME USEFUL TIPS FOR YOU
Here’s a guide to help you upload and install a Twitter background – just follow the simple steps and you’ll have your new background in no time! This will only take you a few minutes!
Once you’ve added your new background you might want to have a play around with your colour settings. Again this is another job that is fairly simple! Start by selecting ’settings’ from the options in the top right hand corner of your Twitter page. Then click on the ‘design’ tab and then choose ‘change design colours’. Once here, use your creative skills and play around with some options.
If you do something and you don’t like how it looks, then don’t start to panic! Any changes that you make won’t go live until you click ’save’.
Step 1
Click ’settings’ at the top of your Twitter page, followed by ‘design’ in the row of tabs.

Click ‘Change background image’

Click ‘Choose file’ and browse your hard drive for the background image you downloaded.
Step 4
Click ’save changes’.
Step 5
Click ‘Change design colours’. If you are using one of our custom backgrounds, be sure to use the main background colour we recommend for you.
Step 6
Click inside each colour box and either change the colour values to the ones we provided with your custom background or pick colours that go well with the free background you’ve downloaded. Click ‘Done’ after each change.
Step 7
Click “Save changes”. Your Twitter background is now complete. Well done!
